THE BLOG
Mancelita.com is a personal blog which contains about the author's thoughts on certain things and/or simply sharing his knowledge about the latest news on gadgets, technology, movies, TV series, etc.
It was formerly known as "What Ram Thinks" (whatramthinks.blogspot.com) from the day the author started to blog (September 2, 2011) until the near end of September 2011. Later on, the author purchased a new domain, Mancelita.com, which evidently comes from his surname.
The author's main focus was supposedly about gadgets alone. But then he realized that he doesn't like to limit himself into that topic only since he also wants to talk about other things like movies or TV series, or current events.
Again, Mancelita.com is just a personal blog which obviously means that it focuses or consists merely on the author's thoughts and opinions.
THE AUTHOR
The author of Mancelita.com, Robert Mancelita Jr a.k.a. Ram, has taken blogging seriously since September 2011, when he had his first post about his review of a much-loved TV series, "How I Met Your Mother". He graduated High School at Don Bosco Technology Center (Cebu) and, is currently taking BS Information Technology at Cebu Institute of Technology - University.
Ram doesn't really consider himself as a writer, but a visualizer (not a visual artist). In fact, he often (now, seldom) feels lazy to write on his own blog since he was having a hard time explaining his thoughts verbally or putting/translating his thoughts into words, making sure that others would understand what he's trying to say or point out. Nevertheless, he still hopes that writing will then become one of his passions in the near future.
Back in 2007-2009 when Friendster monopolized social networking in the Philippines, Ram had several websites such as the old Mancelita.com, Friendster Jam, Friendster Designs, Friendster Skins, Toxic Profiles for Myspace, etc. But after the reign of both Myspace & Friendster, and when Facebook had taken over the monopoly, all of those sites were either sold or closed.
From then on, the author became a freelancer: creating or developing websites, installing or finalizing scripts for the websites, doing search engine optimization, and even writing various articles about technology, health, sports, SEO, etc.
By creating Mancelita.com as his personal blog, Ram hopes that it will be a blast; that his expectations from it, with all the experiences he encountered in the world wide web, may be realized. He hopes to be an inspiration to the youth as a young entrepreneur, a freelancer, a blogger, a person.
